Hi Christy!
I must admit...I never liked this quote...at least not how my son would use it. He would say "I have to be true to me." The truth is...he was trying to be like others...and usually not the best role models. I really want him to be true to himself...and be all that God has created Him to be...regardless of what others might think.
So...a great quote - for the healthy doubters out there...and not so good to those...not really sure who their "self" is.
Great painting! Did I already ask this Christy?...Which comes first...the poem or the painting? They always seem to gel so well together.
