There is still much goodness around

people who care

to take the time

to help someone

they haven't met

to help lift

others up

to help them gain

confidence and feel

LOVE

to help break through

past barriers

so they can

rise to their potential

What lies ahead

I'm peaceful

but curious

as to what the road

will show

the way I need to go

I'll wait until

I know

please let it be clear

so my heart will hear

Ice Cream and Love

Yesterday, I took her to McDonalds for a sundae and she said "Mama, icecream is like sprinkling a little love on your heart"...

embracing change

change is scary because

it is uncertain

we don't know

what lies ahead

all we can do is

stay true

try to follow

the peace path

and trust

trust that God

put the steps

in our hearts

before we could

even walk

Things look good today
alternate between the before and after
Is there something more
waiting is the lesson
patience with time
follow the pathway
stay in line
Keep focused

Conversation with God

I know I am blessed but I also am picking up that I am missing something that I should be listening to......this is my poem to God

but what is the path

you say it is there

and you say I'll know it

but I can't see

what is blocking my vision

why can't I sense what is ahead

it's there

but the distance blocks

the view

I was in the van alone yesterday.

I was feeling a sad feeling.

I asked God to give me some peace

and I looked up

in the sky was

a cloud in the shape

of a white dove

the picture doesn't do it

justice because by the

time I got home

the shape had changed

a little

God will provide signs of peace

for us all
