It looked like snow
minus the chill
it gave a little girl a thrill
to toss the petals in the air
and let them fall
in her hair
her heart is prepared for spring
with all of natures lovely things
I wrote this in the car line today. Cara was having so much fun with the pear tree petals. I even let her bring them in the van.
I love how children look at nature and how they enjoy it. It reminds me to do the same.
Enjoy the pear trees this spring!

Hi Christy!
Being from Indiana, I really appreciate your reflections. Living in Florida now - just a little over 5 years, I have often become complacent to the beauty that surrounds me. I forget that in many other areas of the country/world...the seasons bring brand new moments to cherish.
Thanks for taking me back and reminding me to appreciate the beauty around us.
Love,
W~
Thank you Wendy! I'm glad Cara reminded me today.
Love,
Christy
I LOVE THIS BLOG POST! I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVE NATURE!!! AND EVERYONE'S LIVES ARE SOOOO CRAZY AND HECTIC EVERYDAY.....IT IS SO EASY FOR US TO FORGET TO "STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES" (I KNOW THAT'S CLICHE` BUT IT FITS HERE...LOL!) THIS POST REMINDED ME OF WHEN ALL US GIRLS WENT TO GATLINBURG....JUST ENJOYING EACH OTHER'S COMPANY AND ENJOYING THE BEAUTIFUL NATURE THAT SURROUNDED US! BEING IN NATURE (ESPECIALLY IN SPRING) IS A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE FOR ME! MAD PROPS GURRL!!!
LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!! JENNY ;)
