All of this time I have been wondering why I haven't been able to get into my blog. Just figured out Ellie never logged out of her blog and I couldn't get in because it was in her name. Blonde moment, I've been trying to get on for months.
I'm back and need to change things around! I need a change. I will work on it tomorrow! I'm excited to be back!
Here is a pic of my crazy girls! Love them!

Blocking the Light
Distraction can make us
blind to the light
all the while the light shines brightly
why do we let things block the light
when the light is all we need
blind to the light
all the while the light shines brightly
why do we let things block the light
when the light is all we need

Birthday Love From My Big Sister
"Happy Birthday to my little Sister!!! I remember a snowy Saturday night many years ago. Daddy drove Mama in the slippery snow storm to Baptist Hospital. I waited with Daddy till the early hours of Sunday morning when you decided to make your debut!! Mama had tried a new strawberry blonde color on her hair a few days before. When I first saw you, your hair was the same color as Mama's new Clairol color!! I thought that was so funny! You were so cute and tiny and I loved you from the start!! Still do!! Hope tomorrow's extra special!!!"
I love my big sister! This is a picture of Deb with Mama!

Power of a Smile
A smile goes a long way. It is a gift. I never take smiles for granted. Sometimes, a smile can change someone's day. Try it tomorrow....if you see a person who looks sad or frustrated or lonely, give them a big smile. Most of the time, they will give a big smile back.

The Bible
I am so excited about the mini series, "the Bible", tonight on the History channel. It is produced by Mark Burnett, who produces Survivor and many other things on TV. He wanted to make a movie showing how much God has loved us from the start.
Love your God with all of your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. It is really simple. It is positive and it doesn't say "judge your neighbor".
Love God, Love people. :)

Waiting
To be honest..waiting is never easy for me. Right now I am waiting to schedule a surgery on my two degenerative discs in my neck. I feel like a loser because I can't do as much. I only have to wait until Wednesday but it is playing tricks with my mind. I am going to choose right now to give this anxiety I am feeling to God. I'm going to try to turn off the negative thoughts and be positive. If you read this and are a praying person, please say a prayer for me. I am my own worst critic and it is hard for me to admit so.
I write to share and be transparent in hopes another person who is feeling bad, can join me in looking up. :)

A Dream Follower
What is your dream?
We all have one hidden in our hearts.
Maybe it is a bit dusty, but we can dust if off!
No one is ever too old
to follow a dream!

Captured Moment
A little girl dances
the leaves cracking with each turn
she tosses them in the air with great delight
Her laughter radiating down the street
Her blonde hair shining in the sun
she turns to see her Mamaw smiling
and
taking the moment captive
the leaves cracking with each turn
she tosses them in the air with great delight
Her laughter radiating down the street
Her blonde hair shining in the sun
she turns to see her Mamaw smiling
and
taking the moment captive

Swirl
Walking with a ribbon of red flowing behind,
dancing in the wind.
There are blue sky's above,
you can see the way.
Continue to swirl, with bows on your shoes.
Live like there's no tomorrow!
