Hi,

My MRI went good today. I am waiting on the results. I am also waiting on the rabbit. It is time for her to come feed her babies and I like to watch from the window. It is a blessing and a message at the same time. :)

The Hand of Colors

When I first started this particular journey, I was so afraid of telling anyone about the things I see. Now, I have learned to use it to help people and to use it to pray for people. I had a very strong vision of a hand (I see hands a lot) from the hand were rays of light from each finger. They rays of light were going out to help people, the hand was not just mine, it was many people, with different gifts. It was a powerful vision, I could feel the energy and peace from it.

Stepping Out in Faith

sometimes, it is best just to step out in faith

trust in the good that comes to us

when we are able to use the gifts God

has given us

sometimes, we have to step out in faith

I am praying for the tsunami not to hurt anyone and I am praying for Chile.

Why I Blog

I blog because for years I was numb. I tried unsuccessfully to be like everyone else. I tried to be the perfect parent and failed miserably.

I am not like everyone else. I see now though, that no one is like everyone else. We all have gifts and talents to share! There is no cookie cutter person. We are all made as unique individuals by a loving God who made us to use our gifts to help others. This is what I want to share and encourage other people to trust their gift. Self doubt haunted me for years and it keeps people from "letting go" . Once we let go of it, we can encourage others and accomplish much.

Understanding

To be understood used to be so importand to me

now, being the one who understands

is more important...

to be able to reach

out and understand

is a gift

Bloom Where You Are

So many times I have let depression get the best of me. I have talked myself into thinking "well, I am not perfect and how could I possibly help anyone else". This is not true. If we wait until we are perfect to give to others then we will NEVER get there. There is no perfect person but each of us are blessed with our own unique gifts. When we use these gifts in a positive way to help others, we really can't go wrong. So, please don't listen to negativity. Follow the path, you will get there and others will be blessed by the sharing of your journey.

This little tulip is short but I see a lesson when I look at it. The tulip didn't wait until it was the perfect height to bloom, it bloomed when it was ready. The bloom is beautiful! Everyone has a gift that will bloom, don't wait until you are "perfect" be confident and bloom where you are!!

Cool Cloud

This cloud was purple and green. I couldn't believe it so I took a pic. It does show up. I needed to see something uplifting today. This was such a great gift! I was at a traffic light so I didn't run over anyone. ;)

It is also purple on top of the cloud. The long cloud not the round cloud. Can everyone see it??

Things I Am Noticing

It seems like so many people

are trying to find

their soul purpose-

the thing they were put

on this Earth to do

It seems when we are

on the wrong road-

it is hard to feel

peace

OR

we just want to give more

to use the gifts God has given us

There is a peace plan for

all of us

God gave it to us

sometimes we just need

to be open

and listen

I am listening, I hope I hear :)

certain things

about myself that

may be difficult to accept

but once accepted

I can use it to

help people or

encourage people

who need it

it is really okay

Never doubt in darkness

What God reveals in the LIGHT

I love this quote!! Never doubt the gifts because things feel dark, take some time, feel through the darkness and remember the LIGHT and all it reveals.

Contrasts

There is something about contrasts of color and shapes, that I find peaceful.
Just like the contrasts between people. We are all different but ALL of us have something to offer, something that only we can give....to make the picture complete. :)

After finally realizing I could not defeat depression on my own, I have hope and can paint again...

Truthfully, I have several blogs. I have www.babysoup.us where I write about my life and things that God has shown me along the way.
I also have www.pinksquaresonabridge.wordpress.com . That is my poetry blog. I don't know if anyone can understand my poetry but it helps me to write it.
