Trusting Love

It is amazing what happens when God gives you the gift of really opening up to people and praying for those in need. For years, I was very guarded, now, I can be an open book. It started with something Jo Frost taught me when we did Supernanny, then, God had to sift me and I felt very raw. I was an emotional basket case for a few years, opening up is hard. Now, I am healed and I want to shout it out loud. I want to tell others there is hope.
 My friend Debby said to me recently, "you have to trust those who love you". I have finally accepted it. I have an awesome husband, great kids, great parents and great friends.
 I'm writing this to share love, share Jesus and give others hope.
 Love God, Love People, all people.

Even if a storm knocks down your trees
there is hope ahead
never lose it

God is There

When I was having the CT scan today, I realized that, even though I felt alone and there was no one in the room, God was right there with me. I could call his name and feel his presence. I'm so thankful for prayer and for everyone who was praying for me.

Hope From the Car Line

When the clouds roll by

and you see

a patch of

blue sky

there is

HOPE!!

Hope, peace and sadness

sometimes I feel so much sadness for others
I just feel like I have to make sure I take it all in
and feel it.
Then, I remember there is hope. I can pray for them
I can pray for peace that only God can give
God knows us all and knows how to comfort
each of us individually
Hope is there, just like all the spring blooms
they bring a sign of a new day

New Hope

I have been a little depressed for two days now

when I find myself starting to lose hope

I look at the sunrise and realize everyday

is a gift and everyday gives us a new start

and with the new start comes new

HOPE

Really Cool Rainbow

It is like God read my last blog post!!! We had the most beautiful rainbow today!! I have never seen one so pretty and the colors so vivid.... a promise of hope.

Glimmers of Light

all the expressions of hope

someone learned from you

all the truth your journey can bring

to those going through the same

things now

Sometimes hope is right in front

of us

and all we have to do is

look up

and see it

could it have

been there all

along?

Outside the Box

Sometimes, it feels

like there is nothing

that can help

one to get out of

the box

there seems to

be walls on

all sides

but

there is hope

if one can learn

to think

in ways that

aren't so common

using God

given creativity

New Lessons

I am learning so much

feels like some new

lesson everyday

I am open to understand

and realize and then

turn it in to something

good because there

is good in every

lesson if we just

look

although sometimes it takes me a really long time to find the rainbow....LOL I have to be truthful...

I am thankful for the reminders.......

Choosing Joy Today

Sometimes when things seem

to be dreary

we have to make a concious

effort to choose joy

and not let anything

take it away

it is a choice at the

beginning of the day

choose joy today

and

readjust every few

hours if necessary

Plan to be happy today!!

Which Way

It was almost clear

or so I thought

the path

I was supposed

to walk

but now I

Natural Peace

The moon is very peaceful
It calms my spirit down
kind of like a natural antidepressant
just like the colors of the sky
to sit and look
and be in awe
of the creations of God

I saw this on Oprah today. It was obviously a rerun but it was new to me......I sat and watched this 16 year old sing and cried. She sings from her heart......and her dreams are coming true. It is a great story of hope!!

Never Give up Hope

I had given up hope on this little rose bush. My zinnia's grew so big, it couldn't get enough sun and had little space.

Yesterday, I looked out the window and saw the pretty bloom. It made me realize NEVER to give up hope. If the rose can do it, I can do it.
