It is amazing how a little seed

can make a beautiful flower

they just keep growing

until they bloom,

help people to smile and

bask in the miracle

of God's art

For my friend Kadi

To be inside looking out

is strange

Can I help you

with what I see

do you even need

to hear from me

maybe I should

keep it to myself

since

the colors I feel

are all too real

but no one has to know

does it even matter

is it for me to show

maybe

but I don't know

embracing change

change is scary because

it is uncertain

we don't know

what lies ahead

all we can do is

stay true

try to follow

the peace path

and trust

trust that God

put the steps

in our hearts

before we could

even walk

alternate between the before and after
Is there something more
waiting is the lesson
patience with time
follow the pathway
stay in line

I know I am blessed but I also am picking up that I am missing something that I should be listening to......this is my poem to God

but what is the path

you say it is there

and you say I'll know it

but I can't see

what is blocking my vision

why can't I sense what is ahead

it's there

but the distance blocks

the view

I still try to figure things out

things that don't seem

to have a logical answer

things that makes some feel helpless

like a leaf being carried by a current

what can one grasp

what is real enough

to grab hold and hang on

there is always a voice

God will use it

to show you the way

the quiet brings the wisdom

The moon so gorgeous
so high in the sky
people all see it
at different times
It connects us really
though we don't know how
We all feel the beauty

sense the peaceful presence

being thankful

but it is okay

to make me sad
