Moving Forward

I just watched a mom on the news who does Houdini like tricks for audiences to have some "me" time. Pretty impressive and she could do it in the library for others to watch! Her kids were proud of her for working so hard at it. lol

I didn't have to do anything that challenging but I do LOVE learning! It has made me a much better mom and wife to have something that is just for me. I am so happy knowing I am learning to pursue my dream of being a counselor.

What is your dream? What is keeping you from giving it a go? Everyone needs me time, esp us moms. I was always fearful of failing. Let's get rid of fear, live in the moment and find what God put in your heart to do! Everyone is blessed with gifts, we just have to get past the fear and move forward to FREEDOM!

God's Peace and Coffee

It is always hard to look in the mirror and realize

there are somethings you haven't dealt with

esp when you like to think these things are in the past

I never really thought it was important for ME to deal

with these things

since I was so strong

not quite as strong as I thought

feelings are feelings

regardless of how strong one can be

Now, I'm learning so much, and trying to learn to be

totally healthy in the process

I need God's peace

and some coffee

Reflecting God's Peace

When you are confused, feeling lost, feeling chaos in your mind,

sit back, close your eyes and pray.

Let God bring his glorious light in and show you how to focus on

the things that are important. This has helped me so much today.

We can then reflect God's love and peace onto others who are struggling.

Living in the Moment

Emma, Cara and I have all been sick. I don't like it but what I DO like is lots of hug and cuddle time! I'm never too sick for that.
